As part of our psychosocial support program, MPRC organized two empowering sessions for 28 women family members of missing persons from diverse age groups and ethnic backgrounds (21 Albanian, 7 Serbian).
These sessions focused on the vital link between mental and physical health, offering practical coping and stress-management techniques, including relaxation exercises. Participants shared personal experiences, discovered resilience factors, and strengthened group cohesion through open discussions.
“These techniques are exactly what we need in our daily lives,” one participant shared.
To end the year on a creative note, the group enjoyed a pottery-making activity, turning clay into beautiful pieces, a symbol of resilience and hope.
Together, we are building trust, emotional strength, and community bonds that last beyond differences. These activities are part of the project project “Dealing with the Conflict Legacy” which is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme UNDP Kosovo (UNDP) and funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office through the British Embassy Pristina British Embassy Pristina.
