The fourth information session was held in the city of Mitrovica South, focusing on the latest developments in the field of transitional justice. Discussions focused in particular on updates related to the Transitional Justice Strategy and amendments to the Law on Missing Persons.
This session served as a valuable opportunity for families of missing persons to engage in a meaningful dialogue and receive important information on their rights. Through this meeting, an open space was created to discuss recent legal changes, which aim to strengthen protection and support for affected families.
Representatives from the Ministry of Justice led the discussions, emphasizing the importance of guaranteeing the rights of families to truth, justice and reparation.
One of the main issues that aroused particular interest among the attendees was that of pension rights, where many of the family members expressed their desire and willingness to take concrete steps in filing complaints to secure their rights.
This session was attended by 15 participants, family members of missing persons, who expressed their concerns and shared personal experiences on the challenges they have experienced.
This activity aimed to raise awareness and provide the necessary resources to support families who are still seeking answers and justice for their missing loved ones.
