On 18 October 2025, the Missing Persons Resource Center (MPRC) held the first psychosocial sessions with family members of missing persons at the BARABAR Center in Prishtinë/Priština. Facilitated by a clinical psychologist, the session focused on building trust, emotional resilience, and mutual support among participants.
Through open discussion, creative and reflective activities, 20 participants (13 Albanian and 7 Serbian from different municipalities) had the opportunity to share their feelings and their personal coping strategies, which potentially led to strengthening connections. Our organisation aims to provide ongoing psychosocial support as a way to reduce anxiety and foster solidarity among families still seeking truth and justice for their loved ones.
This activity is part of the “Dealing with Conflict Legacy” project implemented by UNDP Kosovo, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office through the British Embassy Pristina
