MPRC Organizes an Intergenerational Gathering Bringing Together Families of Missing Persons from Kosovo and Serbia

MPRC organized a two-day inter-generational reunion which took place on 10-12 May 2025 at Hotel Magra Austria in Rugovë/Rugova. The event brought together women, family members of missing persons from Kosovo and Serbia.

This carefully structured workshop created a safe and inclusive space where participants were given opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, fostering connections between generations and communities.

This important event also provided psycho-social support, through sessions facilitated by Ms. Fatmire Shala, a highly experienced clinical psychologist at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

The family members of missing persons were also updated on the latest developments in the search for missing persons in Kosovo and Serbia.

The event featured presentations on the efforts, challenges, and future steps in addressing the issue of missing persons by the UNMIK – United Nations Mission in KosovoUNMIK Human rights Office and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).”
