Throughout July and August, the Missing Persons Resource Center, in cooperation with the Institute of Forensic Medicine, successfully concluded the second cycle of continuous psycho-social support activities for family members of missing persons from the municipality of Fushe Kosove/Kosovo Polje region.
The cycle consisted of eight sessions led by licensed psychologists from the IFM and brought together 17 participants, family members of missing persons. The sessions offered a confidential and supportive space where participants could express their thoughts and emotions, connect with others facing similar experiences, and strengthen their coping skills. Through guided discussions and professional facilitation, the sessions fostered emotional well-being, mutual encouragement, and a sense of solidarity among participants.
The completion of this second cycle highlights MPRC’s ongoing commitment to providing continuous psycho-social support to families of missing persons and responding to their long-term needs through professional, survivor-centered services.
These activities are implemented by MPRC through the programmatic activity “Facilitating the Right to Know and Engaging Mandate-Holders,” with the support of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).
