The Missing Persons Resource Center (MPRC), in cooperation with EULEX, Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo, Kosovo Police, and the Institute of Forensic Medicine, successfully organized another set of information-sharing sessions for family members of missing persons in Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje, Suharekë/Suva Reka, Klinë/Klina, and Deçan/Dečane.
The sessions brought together 80 family members from Albanian and Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian (RAE) communities, providing an opportunity for direct dialogue with institutional representatives. Participants received information and clarification on issues related to missing persons cases, including access to information, ongoing investigations, DNA identification, misidentification, and the roles and responsibilities of the institutions involved.
By strengthening communication and cooperation between families and authorities, the sessions contributed to greater transparency and improved access to information for families still searching for answers about the fate and whereabouts of their loved ones.
