On the occasion of marking April 27, the National Day of Missing Persons, MPRC along with family members of missing persons of all ethnicities, laid flowers at the memorial dedicated to missing persons, in honor of the persons that are still unnaccounted for. The President of Kosovo, the Prime Minister and the Head of Parliament joined the event and they all stressed the importance of enlightening the fate of missing persons and expressed their continued support in this process.
The event was attended by representatives of the Government Commission on Missing Persons, many relevant local and international institutions and representatives of non-governmental organizations, close partners of MPRC and the mission of enlightening the fate of the missing.
Through a short press conference, MPRC representatives addressed the public and appealed on all relevant institutions to intensify their work and bring this painful process to an end.
